Melbourne

The next three days were devoted to Melbourne where we met Lenny (with whom Hazel had studied) and her husband Cliff again. If you remember our Rom entry we were guests at their wedding. It was for sure nice to meet them again and see the city where they live and work.

We had the feeling the Melbourne, which was till about 40 years ago bigger and more important than Sydney, had a very special vibe. A nice mix of old and new buildings, a lot of restaurants from all over the world and a young and cosmopolitan population. Have a look at the few pictures to get an impression.
